Tao Studio LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the THOTH mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect a unique user identifier. If you choose to link a social account (Apple or Google), we receive your name and email address from that provider.
• Username: You may choose a display name for your profile.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: Game progress, stages completed, cards unlocked, hints used, coins earned
• Analytics Data: App interactions, session duration, feature usage

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

• RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. Collects purchase history and subscription status.
• Supabase: Our backend service for authentication and data storage. Stores your game progress and account data.
• Google AdMob: Displays advertisements. May collect advertising ID, device information, and ad interaction data.
• OneSignal: Delivers push notifications. Collects device tokens and notification interaction data.
• Apple/Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information from these services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App
• Save your game progress across devices
• Process in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Send push notifications (with your consent)
• Display personalized advertisements
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the App
• Respond to customer support requests

3. Subscription Information

THOTH offers auto-renewable subscriptions ("THOTH Pass"):

• Monthly Plan: $9.99 USD per month
• Yearly Plan: $79.99 USD per year
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the App (listed in Section 1.3)
• Advertising Partners: To display relevant ads (you can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Game progress and account data are stored until you request deletion.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt-Out: Disable push notifications or personalized ads

How to Delete Your Account:

1. Open THOTH App
2. Go to Profile (tap your avatar)
3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
4. Confirm deletion

Alternatively, email us at support@taostud.io with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Upon deletion, we will remove:

• Your user profile and username
• All game progress and unlocked cards
• Purchase history (note: Apple/Google retain their own transaction records)

7. Children's Privacy

THOTH is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
